Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using Quantis you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Quantis is a virtual private network (VPN) that encrypts the internet traffic of your device using the WireGuard® protocol and routes it through servers we operate in several countries. Features may include location selection, an optional DNS shield and in-app support. We may add, change or remove features and locations over time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, or use Quantis with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for making sure that using a VPN is lawful where you are.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Quantis Pro is offered as a weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• If prices change, we will tell you in advance as required by Apple, Google and applicable law.

5. Free trials

Some plans include a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and you are charged. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Free trials are limited to one per person or device.

6. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel at any time in your store account:

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Quantis.
• Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Quantis.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so refund requests are handled under their refund policies — you can request one through Apple or Google Play. Nothing in these Terms limits refund rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

7. Acceptable use

Quantis exists to protect your privacy and security — not to harm others. You agree not to use the service to:

• break any law, or help anyone else break it;
• access, store or share child sexual abuse material, or any content that exploits minors;
• attack, scan, probe or disrupt any network or system, including denial-of-service attacks, hacking and spreading malware;
• send spam or phishing, or commit fraud;
• infringe copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights;
• harass, threaten or incite violence against others;
• resell, share or sublicense your access, or try to bypass our subscription checks or technical limits;
• interfere with the service, other users or our servers.

As explained in our Privacy Policy, we keep connection records and cooperate with valid legal requests from authorities.

8. Devices & keys

The app creates a personal WireGuard® key pair on your device. The private key stays on your device and you are responsible for keeping your device secure. Your subscription is linked to the store account used to buy it; use Restore in the app to restore it on a device signed in to the same store account.

9. Availability

We work to keep Quantis fast and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Servers may be added, removed or temporarily unavailable, and we may perform maintenance. Speeds depend on your network, location and other factors outside our control. A VPN improves your privacy but cannot make you completely anonymous or protect you from every threat.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or end your access, without refund where the law allows, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the service and other users. You may stop using Quantis at any time and can delete your account in the app under Settings → Delete account.

11. Intellectual property

The Quantis app, name, logo, design and content belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose while these Terms apply. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or distribute the app except where the law expressly allows it. WireGuard is a registered trademark of Jason A. Donenfeld.

12. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Quantis is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. App Store & Google Play

If you downloaded Quantis from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product claims. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also comply with the App Store and Google Play terms that apply to you.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of Quantis is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts where the law allows.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. If you keep using Quantis after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
